1 Corinthians 1:4-9

“I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus, that in everything you were enriched in Him, in all speech and all knowledge, just as the testimony concerning Christ was confirmed in you, so that you are not lacking in any gift, as you eagerly await the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will also confirm you to the end, blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Enriched in Him: God has given believers everything they need for life and godliness (see 2 Peter 1:3-4). This includes spiritual gifts. Paul wanted the believers in Corinth to know how well equipped they were in Christ.

Who will also confirm you to the end, blameless: According to Paul, there is no reason for Christians to be frightened on Judgement Day. Jesus Christ confirms His children to the very end of time. Judgment Day, therefore, is a happy day for Christians because we see God face-to-face as people who are 100 percent blameless.

Fellowship: While the concept of fellowship is often viewed as something that is constantly in flux, Paul did not view it in this way. Fellowship, or union with Jesus, is permanent at faith in Jesus for salvation. Through our union with Jesus, we are united with the entire Trinity.
